Support. Assist. Educate.

Founded through experience. Guided by compassion.

Tina Evans is a breast cancer survivor who turned her personal journey into a mission of service. After navigating the physical, emotional, and practical challenges of diagnosis and treatment, she realized the profound need for individual encouragement and clear navigation through the healthcare system.

Founded in 2017, Tina Cares grew from Tina's desire to ensure that no one has to walk the path of a cancer diagnosis alone. What started as one woman offering a listening ear has evolved into a dedicated nonprofit organization that assists patients, survivors, and families throughout their most difficult moments.

The foundation is built on three core pillars: Support, Assist, and Educate. By sharing authentic stories, identifying community resources, and providing high-quality educational information, Tina Cares serves as a bridge between the clinical aspects of healthcare and the human need for compassion and connection.

How Tina Cares Helps

Support

Provide encouragement, personal support, and meaningful community connections for people affected by cancer.

Assist

Help patients, survivors, and families locate doctors, explore available services, identify community resources, and better understand questions related to healthcare and insurance.

Educate

Share accessible information about breast cancer awareness, screenings, survivorship, caregiving, healthcare navigation, and available resources.

Support that continues throughout the year.

The work of Tina Cares extends beyond one event or one month. Throughout the year, Tina helps people navigating cancer by listening to their concerns, helping them locate helpful resources, identifying questions to ask healthcare providers or insurance representatives, and connecting them with available community support.
